OCTOBER SPOTLIGHT FROM THE PRESIDENT

Fall Greetings fellow gardeners!

For as long as I can remember, fall has been my favorite season of the year. The warm days and cool nights suddenly become a welcomed blessing from the hot and humid summer days.

The colors, the holidays, the change is all so wonderful to me.

Gratitude becomes my focus as I start to whine down another year. Gratitude doesn’t always have to be about the big things. I’m simply grateful to cozy up beside the fireplace with a cup of hot cocoa, a brisk walk with leaves cracking underfoot, fall decorating, or admiring the changing rainbow of colored trees.

Having gratitude in the small realities of my life help make sense of my past, brings peace for today, and creates a better vision for tomorrow. Gratitude makes things right; it turns my negative energy into positive energy. It allows me to get things accomplished with a joyful heart. There is no situation, great or small that is not inclined to gratitude’s power. What are you thankful for today?
