A new community project was completed this month! Members from our Caro Garden Club teamed up with Colleen Russell from the Tuscola County Fair Board to landscape the front of Midway Hall. Together we planned, purchased and planted wiegela, burning bushes, hydrangeas, weeping spruces and "Tater Tot" arborvitae. Colleen's dad Gale Jackson dug holes for us with a power auger and cut and installed timbers around the edges. Members of the football team from Caro High School spread the mulch and wrestled huge boulders into place. The final touch of colorful barrels and hanging baskets came from Wills Greenhouse.
