Winter Greetings,
March can be an unpredictable month. There’s the old saying, “In like a lion, out like a lamb”. The sun shines bright, and yet the winds can blow ever so cold, Burr... For me, March represents new beginnings, a month of stirring warmth in preparation for a new season of growth. It’s a great time to trim many varieties of fruit trees, setting the groundwork for a bountiful Fall crop. Thank goodness for the month of March!
Caro Garden Club Inc. is also in preparation of setting the groundwork of a new season. I know it seems early, but we are already thinking about our upcoming “Flower Sale” to be presented by Wendy C. at our March 25 th meeting. I am grateful for the time and hard work Wendy and her team put in toward making our sale a success!
FYI Carol E. has fallen and broke her hip while shoveling snow. The good news is that it’s a clean break and great chance for a speedy recovery. Carol E. is currently at the Tuscola County Medical care Facility, Caro MI. for rehab. A card and flowers have been sent on behalf of Caro Garden Club Inc. members. Cards may also be sent to Carol’s home address.
FYI: I will be out of state visiting family March 17-25. I will miss seeing you all.
Happy March Birthday to Maggie E. and April B.
I hope the month of March finds you in good spirits and thinking ahead to Spring!
Sincerely,
Melody Crossett Jones
Caro Garden Club Inc. President
