It was a busy month for the Caro Garden Club. On September 5th we hosted a native plant sale with East Michigan Native Plants and Five Hearts Earthworm Farm. Many thanks to all of you who came and helped make this another successful event!

One beautiful afternoon we had the St. Christopher Youth work with us in the gardens. They are always a fun and enthusiastic group.

Our September meeting was held at Caro Area District Library. Linda Mason crafted the beautiful arrangement with a unique wooden vase. Joyce Muz gave a presentation on healing gardens that got us all thinking about how our own gardens contribute to our health. And it also led to a discussion about our Botanical Garden and how many goals of a healing garden it meets. Maybe we should add a musical element….

Our gardeners have found their creative side and decorated the gardens for the Pumpkin Festival. How many googly eyes should one garden have?
